Stanley's Story of Impact
Meet Stanley. Abandoned by his family at birth, Stanley spent the first 13 years of his life in the orphanage until Overture stepped in with IBESR to reunify all of the children from that orphanage. After months of identifying special families willing to foster a child with special needs, Stanley was moved to a transition home so that his foster mom could receive the necessary training to care for him under the supervision of an experienced caregiver. After the training period, Stanley finally went to live with Jacqueline — his new permanent mom.

Our facility is the heart of our operation. Your donation will help us maintain and equip it so we can continue providing vital services to children and their families. A gift of $10,000 will provide the fuel needed for backup generators and mobilize our social workers to communities for 4 months.

This initiative is not just feeding the hungry; it is also supporting local farmers, restoring dignity and planting the seeds for Haiti’s future to be food secure through their own means. A gift of $5,000 will provide over 16,000 nutritious meals (45 meals a day for 1 year).

Your contribution will help us understand and address the causes of family breakage, guiding them on their journey to self-sufficiency. Filling the gap for these families with services such as personal and economic training, scholarships for children, access to healthcare, and secure housing. A gift of $2,500 will empower a family and provide access to education and healthcare for 1 year. (A new home can be provided with a gift of $12,250).

With your support, we can continue to place children in loving foster families, giving them the gift of a family. Many families are eager to volunteer to care for a child who has been abandoned by their own family. Your support ensures that these compassionate volunteers receive training, social support, and the economic means to provide the best care for the children. A gift of $750 will activate 1 foster family for a child who has been abandoned by their biological family.
